Problems with the electronics on the Volvo XC90

National administration of U.S. traffic safety (NHTSA) launched an investigation into the possible problem with the electronics the Volvo XC90.
These are the cars produced in 2004 and 2005, reported the official site of the office. According to information, NHTSA has launched an investigation after its address had received 21 complaints from owners of an SUV model XC90.

They were associated with incorrect use of lights - lights, stop signs and indicators.

According to the Administration for safety and traffic, the problems come from a defect in the electronic control module. The investigation already has included a branch of Volvo in America agency reported Bloomberg.

If the investigation establishes definitely the presence of defects that will cause involuntary service in the workshops of 93,500 cars manufactured in 2004 and 2005.

At the end of June from Volvo cried in workshops around 30,000 cars sold in all world markets because of a defect in the gearbox.

This affected the production of the newest version models produced at the end of last year and this year, equipped with mechanical transmission by 6 degrees.
